What a great nail polish set! There are a total of 12 nail polish bottles, 8 colors and 4 "effects", giving you a huge amount of possibilities! The colors are the usual everyday solid colors (white, black, red, blue, yellow, orange, pink and purple) which are really nice creamy shades on their own. But then you apply one of those spectacular polishes and it transforms this cream into something completely different! There are many varnishes that work on their own. For example reflective gel. You can buy a range of polishes that are strictly reflective glitters in a variety of base colors, but that's all you get. You can also buy glow-in-the-dark nail polish, but that's all you get, too. I've seen bloom polish where you buy different colors of bloom polish to apply to white polish which looks very different than this one but I like this one better. And finally magnetic paint. I have a variety of magnetic polishes and they still need a black polish primer to work well so it's not much different from this one. I mean at this price point it's really awesome to have all these different combinations available. The only minor downside is that the set doesn't come with a base and top coat, but I'm really only mentioning that in case someone who doesn't use gel polish is planning on gifting one. You need to make sure you already have them (and light) or get them too.
