I was drinking out of these glasses at a restaurant in Hawaii and decided I should drink myself. The order arrived for 4 glasses packed as well as I have ever seen! Sturdy cardboard and dividers for each jar, plus an air cushion provided by more cardboard and empty space around the jars in the middle. Nothing could break these jars the way Libby wrapped them and they came a long way to get to me. The glasses themselves are exactly the same as in the restaurant. Very cute, not thin. thicker glass required for 3D pineapple design. I love them so much I will probably order another set! If you live in the tropics these glasses will make even an ordinary iced tea a treat, and then for a corporate or themed dinner or party they'll be a hit! The inside of the glasses is not smooth (due to the 3D curved pineapple design). So for a thick drink, I think you need a glass/dish cleaning brush to clean it if that's a problem for you, but I'm fine with that. I think it would be better in my opinion to drink from them through a straw. I am very happy that I bought them.
