I use this magnet holder at least a few times a week for online training. This is important as most of the population is in self-isolation. The mount attaches easily to my tripod and moves easily into position. I can even move the tripod (vertically) to another location without dropping the iPad. A metal plate is attached to the iPad. If you don't mind the ugly rectangle on the back of your iPad, then this is the magnetic tripod mount to use. Before the quarantine order, I used it to hold my iPad while filming student presentations. Easily positioned so I can record videos with the rear camera while using the front camera as a viewfinder. Pros: Easy to install; good strong magnet. Cons: Ugly metal plate on the back of your phone or iPad (not critical)>
