Works with my iPad.

I use this magnet holder at least a few times a week for online training. This is important as most of the population is in self-isolation. The mount attaches easily to my tripod and moves easily into position. I can even move the tripod (vertically) to another location without dropping the iPad. A metal plate is attached to the iPad. If you don't mind the ugly rectangle on the back of your iPad, then this is the magnetic tripod mount to use. Before the quarantine order, I used it to hold myโ€ฆ

If you're tired of the ratchet straps

I have the thinnest iPhone 11 Pro Max I could find. Whenever I have to use the tension mount my phone is very difficult to fit in and sometimes it breaks and falls. That's why I bought this bracket. I already have the magnetic ring that comes with the mount in my car and it suits me perfectly. This adapter works well with this magnetic ring. I also have an iPhone 11 Pro (not Max) that I use with the DJI Osmo 4 and I put the magnetic ring directly on the phone instead of on the case. Because ofโ€ฆ

I bought it for a jeep and offroad but the magnets are not strong enough.

I have a tripod mount on my Jeep's dash. I originally had a clip mount for my phone (Oneplus 5t) which worked well on and off road. I wanted the ease of use of a magnetic mount like in my other cars so I bought one for the Jeep. It turned out that the magnets inside are not strong enough. My phone doesn't fall, but it does tilt when riding and hitting bumps, horizontally rather than vertically. Everything is OK. on Cradles

I actually had to send another one as the first one was broken on arrival. Now I kind of understand why. This suggests it's strong enough to hold a tablet, but I wouldn't trust it at all! I also had to ask them to credit me for the plates as the ones that came with the product didn't hold up very well. I have a first generation iPad Pro 12.9. It fell off the thing twice, luckily my iPad didn't hurt when I put it on the couch to test it. It holds my iPhone 8plus well but not with my case. Theโ€ฆ

Super easy to use! in car accessories

I was using a pair of phone holders as a tripod and inevitably had to change camera settings, turn off my phone or drop it on the floor. The spring-loaded holders always seem to stick and require three hands to use. So the magnets on this mount are strong enough to hold my Samsung Galaxy S8+ when the case is off, but I feel much more secure using the included magnetic sheet that you attach to either the back of the phone or the mount attach. I have several mounts so I just snapped it onto oneโ€ฆ

Very handy support <-- That Broke! Updated Overview <-- And updated again after a free replacement!

Ok new update and I am changing back from 1 star to 4 stars for excellent customer service. I did not contact Orsant but they saw this review and contacted me and provided a free replacement which was delivered very quickly. There are others who had the same error. It could be a material defect, a manufacturing defect, or maybe just bad design. Therefore no 5 stars on this basis. This is a VERY convenient stand and the magnetic mount is pretty strong. Until it broke I didn't find anythingโ€ฆ
