Ok new update and I am changing back from 1 star to 4 stars for excellent customer service. I did not contact Orsant but they saw this review and contacted me and provided a free replacement which was delivered very quickly. There are others who had the same error. It could be a material defect, a manufacturing defect, or maybe just bad design. Therefore no 5 stars on this basis. This is a VERY convenient stand and the magnetic mount is pretty strong. Until it broke I didn't find anything similar. The company stands behind its product and says thank you for the excellent customer service. =========== Downgrading my rating from 5 to 1 star. I was about to attach my iPad to it and the magnet grabbed the iPad and broke the mount! Bad quality control. Never drop, overload, overload or abuse in any way. It just broke right away! You can probably glue it down with epoxy, but damn it, I've only had it three weeks! boo! =========== Original Review: I was looking for custom iPad stands when I realized I already had a couple of stands as well as a metal plate on the iPad that I used for a magnetic one use bracket. on the car holder, as well as on the table holder. So this seemed like the perfect solution... And it works great! Much cheaper than a separate stand, plus I can use what I already have. The magnets are strong enough that I can lift the connected iPad and tripod. Attach and detach in less than a second. Very happy so far and it was a good buy. highlighted.
