For an ARGB controller, you can't beat this item. Use something else to control the fan. It works with any lightbar, fan, lightbar etc. It is 3 pin 5v. I connect all my Argb products to this controller and at the touch of a button they show many colors. The pins on this controller are compatible with Cooler Master, ID Cooling, FormulaMod, Jonsbo and match the controller well. This is not the case with other 5V hubs as the connection is very weak. The price range for this item is $10-$20, and it's worth it if you plan to use other brands' ARGB products in your system. For fan control this works pretty well as you can set the fan speed with the remote but we don't recommend using it for fan control as everything is powered from a single SATA connector and with high speed fans like FormulaMod 2200-U / min fans. This could be a problem. Lower RPM fans would probably fit, but the entire controller is powered from a single SATA connector. This is very similar to running 3 or 4 fans on a single motherboard socket, which can burn out. But for the ARGB controls, and I've tried many of them from Revain and elsewhere, they couldn't be better.
