Review on Purex Mountain Breeze Liquid Laundry Detergent: 2X Concentrated, 2Count, 220 Total Loads by Tara Perez

I bought this detergent because it was on sale at a very good price. I've heard good things about Purex in the past and wanted to try it. For the first few loads of this detergent, I noticed a strange smell in my clothes. I measured out the right amount of detergent for my load and turned on the extra rinse cycle in the washing machine. It smelled clean, but it had another weird smell. I ended up going out and buying scent enhancers to get rid of the smell. Housekeeping is decent but far from tide. Of course, Tide is a lot more expensive, but there's a reason for that. This cleaner did not completely remove body fat and did not remove small food stains from kitchen splatters. Also, my white laundry didn't look as white after a few days of washing with this detergent. I ended up going back to Tide for heavily soiled and white clothes and used Purex for colored items and towels, things that don't get too dirty. Overall, this is a great cleaner if you're on a very tight budget or never get dirty. Otherwise, I'd stick with Tide for everyday laundry.
