I'm not sure why car manufacturers don't just offer software settings. Or even the dealer does it at the time of purchase. I understand some things are related to safety or DOT. My GTI now has clearer brake and turn indicators; Mists that stay when I want them; convenient windows from the keychain; lower air conditioning temperature; pulsating start button; better throttle response, auto-locking doors; an indicator of how much fuel I need to fill my tank; 5 flashes for lane change, brighter cornering light; sharp brake indicator; Windows that can close after turning off the ignition; and some more goodies. I used apps to buy so I bought the Pro model with credits. I don't code long, but I could if I wanted to learn. I can check and reset error codes. It's worth the purchase price. It was relatively easy and made the car even more interesting and personal. Excellent purchase.
