The switch's blue illumination is very bright. We also found them a bit touchy in the way they responded. Sometimes you could touch a switch and the light would come on. Sometimes not. The dimming feature was very nice, but it was an annoying feature. We replace ours. Update: I'm not updating the star rating but I have to say the customer support was very responsive and we had a good email conversation about this light. They said that over the next month or so they will update how the blue light works and investigate the "sensitive" response to the switch. So if you're looking at this article after August 2021 or so, please take that into account.
