I ordered them for my dorm room and they worked very well. The lights are pretty bright, change colors as expected and I haven't had any issues so far. There are two things to watch out for: First, the two purple color options on the remote don't actually give you purple. Instead, it's a bright, bluish light. Colors work well including yellow and orange. Second thing to note is that there is a USB connector at the end. So you need a USB port to use the outlet like you would for phone chargers. Aside from these minor issues, they work great. I hung them on hooks and they light up my whole room with ease. *The color in the image may appear purple, but these are just weird phone cameras and not an accurate representation of the actual color of the light. The lights were very blue when I took the picture.
