My God. Why didn't we try this before? Our dog is totally crazy in the car. He barks the ENTIRE ride in the car. And while I'm happy to take it with me on hikes, to kindergarten, to workouts, etc., it's at the expense of our sanity. We've tried everything: bones, congas, feeding treats/food while driving, being in the car every day, pheromones... nothing really helped. TO THIS LITTLE DEVICE! I've taken it on two rides so far and only had to press the button twice each time. I just say "don't bark" and he stops immediately. I was very hesitant to try negative reinforcement but he's not traumatized by it, he still loves the car! But now he understands that saying "no" has consequences. Unbelievable! I would give that 10 stars if I could because we get to do so many more fun things together.
