Looks like plastic, feels like plastic, sounds like plastic, has to be plastic!

The old saying: If he walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then he is a duck! Well, those knobs are just as plastic, but now they look like a nifty shiny metal plate that rattles inside and you can see it peeking through the screw hole. Well for small light drawers they might be fine but for heavier full size dresser drawers I doubt they will hold up but they are what they are and so I'll use them as long as they last if I do they can install and not break you.
