I bought this to replace batteries in a Waterpik SR-3000 toothbrush. They have large protrusions, which, if overheated, can lead to a short circuit of the elements. To fix the second toothbrush I bought a Kastar AAAX2 2.4V MSM 1000mAh Ni-MH battery. These are the same batteries wrapped in flimsy plastic as the batteries have been replaced with red and black wires which are much easier to work with. Simply cut the wires to length and snap them into 3/32" or 1/16" diameters. shrink and solder the wires. Especially since their prices are lower.
