My truck has a suction cup DVR and I'm no stranger to these types of mounts. They're not perfect, but mine stays in place for about 2-3 months in hot or cold weather before it falls off and I have to put them back on. That's perfectly acceptable to me. I expected more from this mount. no This is a mount. It didn't have a perfect connection to my wife's DVR, but it was workable. I would give it a solid 4 stars but it refuses to stay on the windshield of a new 2020 Kia for more than a few minutes. I wiped the window and suction cup, spat on it, and finally cursed. The DVR is currently stuck in the glove box until I can think of another solution.
