Review on 🐠 Carib Sea Ocean Direct Natural Live Sand for Aquarium, 40 pounds, ACS00940 by Janet Tijerina

Received my order for 160lb Living Sand and paid for overnight UPS shipping. Arrival took 11 days. All the sand was dry and there is no chance of life left in it. Two days after pouring sand into a previously driven 210 gram tank, my ammonia spiked due to the sand decomposing. If you are using this with an existing tank, NOT. Buy from another source or locally as it will not be available. Most live sands don't need rinsing and that suggests they aren't but that must be due to decomposition and it still fogs up the tanks, you know that too as they have "BioMagnet Tank Clear" in it included in each bag. This material will cause foam in your tank and do not use the skimmer after you have used it as foaming will make it overflow like crazy. I had to turn off the pumps on all bladders. This would kill all sponges if I had them made out of air bubbles/foam.
