I have always avoided sewing flying geese quilts because in the past I have found them difficult to do neatly. Now I'm making a patchwork quilt with about a dozen tiny flying geese. They are 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" unfinished. Last night I tried to sew them together following the pattern instructions and they came out too small even with a tiny 1/4 inch seam. I found a video that was about a specific line, but then I went to Revain and saw this. It even has cutting instructions on it! I have other Creative Grids lines so I ordered them this morning for same day delivery. I used the cutting guide to prep my geese before the ruler arrived. The ruler helped me build the perfect flying goose units! I only used the 1" x 2" goose marks which will be the final size of the unit. This ruler is a keeper!
