After figuring out how to use it seems to work but I just received it so can't say for sure if it works on clothes. I can say that it is very light and handy. He is very sensitive to touch. It comes with a piece of fabric but this is a quality check item that HAS NOT BEEN USED BEFORE as some reviewers claim. It seems a fair price but I'll have to wait and see when I actually use it in clothes. The delivery was very quick.
