Review on Hogardeck Christmas Snowflake Buffalo Decorations by Carlos Massey

This tree skirt is a nice size and the design looks exactly like the product photos. However, it wasn't clear if it was truly waterproof, so I was a bit nervous. (I need a waterproof wooden skirt because one of my dogs refuses to be housebroken and still marks everything with his pee. I need a wooden skirt so that urine doesn't get on the carpet and hardwood floors and so I can easily get the smell out. ) The top is a soft woven fabric and the bottom is a softer material (I don't know what to call it. Sort of like microfleece, just not quite. It's fluffy but also very thin). I dripped some water on it and although it clumped together into beads at first, it eventually soaked into the fabric. So far, however, it hasn't leaked to the other side. The top feels damp and will likely trap odors, but the stuff underneath should be reasonably safe. I haven't tried pouring a lot of water on it or leaving it on for long periods of time, but it's definitely a lot more waterproof. than the regular fabric I used last year. This wooden skirt uses velcro sewn to the bottom to hold the sides together. It's a lot easier than ties and looks better without anything on top. Velcro is not located along the entire length of the edge, only at intervals, but this is quite enough. Let's see how it holds up over the holidays. If there are any issues I will come back and update my review. But so far it looks good!
