If the little adhesive fasteners really stuck, the problem would be solved. The fasteners that come with the Honeywell RWD41 device itself are different, they are larger, don't have a center hole and hold better. The hole in the fastener that comes with the extension is too big. Finding a nail with a large head and a small shank is not an easy task. I'll have to look for other fasteners or come up with another solution to keep the entire cord lying flat on the floor around my washing machine.
