Review on Fostex T50RP MK3 Semi-Open 🎧 Studio Headphones, Designed for Professional Use by Iseul Chang ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

For many years it somehow sat in the subconscious that it would be necessary to buy them, and now I decided. On the one hand, it's good, because the sound is so good that there was an increase in quality (before that I listened to sony mdr-7506). On the other hand, listen to the entire music library again! :) For listening to music, this is an excellent option! Of the shortcomings, I can only name that any flaws in the recording can be heard very clearly! On the other hand - an extraordinary liveliness of sound. Recordings from the Aquarium of the 80s with all the roughness - it's wonderful! And at first I listened to the card built into the laptop, everything was fine there. I also listened through e-mu0202, but its output is clearly unable to shake them, although the bass is heard well. As it should sound with the purchase of m-audio m-track 2x2, just an amazing jump in quality. The sound is just overwhelming. And I listen to a variety of things: rock, ambient, jazz, even pop. Headphones win back everything for 5 s +! Now about the bad: compared, for example, with the mdr-7506, it is very inconvenient to carry them with you, they do not fold up in any way, i. E., these are typically stationary headphones. Further, an interesting feature turned out to be. When the headphones are on the head, but the sound is not turned on, the surrounding sounds are transformed in a rather cunning way and they are loudly heard. You immediately shoot - yes, there seems to be some kind of quiet sound somewhere, put on headphones - here it is, loud and clear! But it's more fun. In general, I strongly recommend it to all lovers of beautiful sound of any style who have a suitable amplifier.

Pros
  • Sound quality.
Cons
  • Quite bulky and doesn't fold up. The effect of "resonator" with silence.
