Review on OEMTOOLS 27012 Industrial Double Flaring by Brandon Woodson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Doesn't work well with 3/16 steel tubing or possibly all steel tubing

I've found that I don't need metric sizes for 3/16 brake lines on an old 1978 Datsun. Machine 3. However, the tool does not have enough power to make even acceptable sockets on steel pipe. None of my other hand tools worked either. You will either need a hydraulic flaring tool or buy a complete line with the correct fittings and add enough elbows to get the final length correct. This will probably be fine with copper or some other softer material. For me it was a waste - even though it says steel.
