I lost my Fluke corded range finder and figured if it was a little accurate it would fit. I was surprisingly accurate. Even with bugs, all other features were a bonus. I wouldn't toss this in a toolbox with a Bunch of Pliers stapler etc, but you can't beat quality for the money, and less likely to get stolen than a $900 smash with a pair of fancy pants. The picture of the blue model shows that batteries are included, there were no batteries in my kit.
