The sound quality isn't the best, I hear a lot more white noise than I should for a good vinyl record. That being said I didn't have high hopes for a cheap turntable so by comparison it didn't live up to my expectations. It was easy to set up, just removing some of the guards and connecting everything. I probably wouldn't buy it again for myself, but would recommend it to anyone who has a few records (or wants to buy a few to start a collection) and just wants to listen to some music while you decide if you want to invest more in better equipment or not.
