Great camera but expensive

I needed a c-mount camera that would work well with linux for a microscope I'm building. I got this camera and the results are excellent compared to the small Raspberry Pi camera.

Pros

This could be the perfect alternative to the Raspberry Pi V2 camera module

Cons

makes me mad
