I live in upstate New York. I received this coat about a month ago and have worn it in temperatures around 15F. It is very warm. It's bulky but doesn't cause any discomfort. I wear it to walk my dog so I'm out for over an hour at a time. I'm not overheated, just nice and cozy. Things I would like: 1- Hood drawstring that tends to slip off. 2- two-way zip to make riding easier when carried (the zip seems to be of good quality) and 3- large external pockets. My cell phone barely fits in. I like the inside pockets. Overall a good coat. It replaces a parka I've had for over 20 years, hopefully this one will last.
