My old cordless drills used to work with old non-lithium batteries and eventually they died. They wanted almost as much as this drill costs per battery, and this drill even came with accessories. I don't get many opportunities to use a hammer drill, but if you've ever tried drilling concrete you'll understand how awesome it would be to have one. So I bought this model with all three options: drill, hammer and screw. Haven't used a hammer drill yet but as a 2 speed cordless drill it was great.
