I bought these for my little one because we couldn't keep anything in her ears. We have tried all child resistant and child resistant earrings available and they were not suitable for the child. I bought these with hesitation due to some of the negative reviews left by other moms with babies. My only regret is that I didn't buy them sooner. I would have saved a lot of money for lost earrings. Below are a few complaints that I didn't find true.1. Earrings are too big. no My daughter is 22 months old and they are exactly the size I expected. They occupy her earlobe, as I expected, but don't hang underneath.2. They are so small that pink stones are not visible. Again no. This is the perfect size for a toddler. They're designed for small ears, so they're small, but you can definitely see the colors and design. Every big and group 1 will complain more.3. The posts are too long and/or the thread is too short. I agree, this is a minus, but not critical. They stand out a little, but that's not noticeable and doesn't bother. The backs are rounded, don't bump and look cute, so what's the problem? 4. There are complaints that other babies lost the earring within a few days. I assume user error. Be sure to screw and unscrew the ears first to ensure you know what it's like to screw and tighten properly. Small children do not sit still, so they may be crooked and tight when they first put them on, but they are really unreliable. Also, you implant it in a creature whose favorite activity is pulling and twisting earrings. Normal bolts loosen over time (which is why mechanics tighten bolts on your car during an oil change). Check them out and give them a little twist once a day. I haven't found them loose, but I blow them every night. Bottom line, I would highly recommend them to anyone with a Houdini baby like me. You will not regret it.
