Mahjong comes in different sizes. This pusher height is a little lower for my mahjong if we stack 2 rows together. We play Chinese mahjong (just for fun) which means 13 counts to win 14 counts. American mahjong has 21 counts (if I remember correctly). The old traditional method (how my grandfather plays) is 17 counts. It varies a lot, just count and don't complain that it's too short. lol. Regardless, I like it for what I need. I just bought my new china mahjong set (2018) for 80 yuan but they don't sell pushers. Pushers are more of a southern Chinese habit. Also, it was difficult to even find mahjong in Beijing due to gambling restrictions. My family would take me to local antique shops or sightseeing tours.
