Perfect for lighting patio umbrellas

Review updated 1 year later (see updated image) When fall came I took off my lighted umbrella and put it in my unheated garage. When I went to get it back in the spring, I hooked up the headlights for the first time since putting them back where they worked when I put them away. The thread was burned except for a small section (see updated photo). The only thing I can think of is that the headlights were stored in my garage in the cold. I have several other fairy lights and none of them have failed due to the cold. I am changing my rating from 5 stars to 1 star as they have not stood the test of time and now I have to go the extra mile to get them off my umbrella and find something more durable. <Original review>Bought this lightweight rope to hang an umbrella on my outdoor patio for evening lighting. 39 feet long was the perfect length for my 10 foot diameter umbrella. This allowed me to thread both the outer rim around the shade and the inner circle of light. I've used shorter 33ft light ropes in the past, but I've found that this was always a compromise because when I stretched the 33ft rope around the outside edge of my 10ft umbrella, it was the center of my patio table dark at night. was lit and made it difficult to see the table where my guests and I were playing cards or other gaming activities that required me to form 2 smaller circles leaving the outer edges dimly lit. The 39ft length allowed me to tie the outer circle (27ft) and inner circle (8.5ft) and connect them with a center strip (4.5ft) for a complete lighting solution that lights up on my patio table so we never felt like we were sitting in the dark. Warm white light is also an ideal color for outdoor lighting where you don't feel like you're being hit by a bright white point light. than any other 33ft string lights at the same price. This string of lights has 11 lights per foot while others have 7.3 lights per foot, making these string lights more consistent and beneficial overall with little movement than 33 foot string lights. It also has a standard power plug instead of those pesky sockets with tiny wires that are easy to damage, and the plug looks like an eyesore. Instead it has a nice, strong and durable power cord that doesn't get damaged when I turn the umbrella up and down. Pros: 39ft long, perfect for fully illuminating a 10ft diameter umbrella, warm white light, perfect for an outdoor patio atmosphere. 11 lamps/ft instead of 7.3 lm/ft (more even and complete lighting). Heavy-duty power cord without the ugly wall adapter. Time. (review updated 7/27/20, they're rubbish!)
