I use quite a lot of headphones. All in all, this is my third set of Bluetooth headphones and I can honestly say I think the technology has finally gotten to the point where I've almost given up on wired headphones. Pros: 1) Really good sound. are they perfect no Are they better than 90% of WIRED headphones under $100? Absolutely. One thing that's really important is that compression for Bluetooth audio has come a long way in the past few years. If your phone supports the apt-x compression used by these headphones, the sound quality is very good. IMPORTANT: Make sure to use the equalizer on your phone to get the highest sound quality and adjust the sound to your preferences. 2) Battery Life. I use them most of the day at work. I typically get a good 8 hours of listening time and they charge VERY quickly. I didn't measure how long it takes to go from empty to full charge, partly because it's pretty quick. A quick charge of 5-10 minutes can provide considerable playing time. 3) comfort. I have these things in my ears for hours and have had no issues with comfort. The earhooks are made of soft silicone and while I was initially concerned that they weren't adjustable, they are very flexible and add to the stability without being rigid. I also use them for running and have done about a dozen runs with them. I had a bit of trouble with it, although after a couple of long sweaty runs the silicone hooks and ear cups became slippery with sweat and the fit wasn't as secure. I wiped them down with my rag and pulled my ears to remedy the situation, but they were a little annoying on particularly long, hot runs. However, it's okay. 4) cable. The flat cable really helps keep tangles to a minimum. The coating also doesn't get as slick with sweat or stiff in the cold like previous headphone cables I've had. Nice touch.5) Microphone. Of the Bluetooth headsets I've had, this is the first headset that I haven't received any complaints about being unheard or sounding ridiculous. Cons: 1) connection. That's a tricky one, and not necessarily these headphones' fault, as the phone you're plugging in will also affect this. In general, the connection is very good. Leaving my phone on the table allows me to move 20-30 feet before disconnecting. However, problems arise when jogging and exercising. When my phone is "protected" close to my body, in my pocket, or on the treadmill, the signal sometimes cuts out when I turn my head to check traffic and so on. I've had this issue with other Bluetooth headsets as well (almost identical answer), so I'm pretty sure there isn't an issue with this headset specifically. Overall the connection is good, it just becomes a minor annoyance. I will say that the last pair I had had a more serious problem, shutting down at times but not receiving a signal and not shutting down completely. It was SUPER annoying. I haven't had that problem with this set. 2) Draft. There are just a few annoyances here. I don't like the position of the power/pause/play button. It sits right where my finger goes to insert the earcup when it starts slipping out. So when I'm running and my ears are sweating, I end up hitting the pause button when I press it back. I don't care about the position of the status bar either. It points forward. So if you have an earbud and you look at someone, they will see that it's blinking and it's quite bright. It would be better if it was pointing down or even towards your head. 3) With a headphone. I solved this problem myself, but it would be nice if a set of clothes clips were included to attach the wire to clothing. I often use just one earbud to hear everything around me, and if I don't secure the middle of the cord to the back of my shirt, the loose earbud pulls on the other earbud. I solved this problem by making a loop in the middle of the cable with the included cable guide and then attaching a swivel hook cable clamp. I can then attach the cable to the shirt at the back of the neck. Viola! The problem is solved. 4) Discharging the phone battery. This has absolutely nothing to do with this particular headphone, but generally hinders the use of Bluetooth. When I listen to music with it, my phone's battery consumption doubles or more. On top of that, my phone's battery is generally bad and I have to keep my phone plugged in all day to keep it going. Overall these headphones work great and I'm happy with them. They're a little more expensive than other competitors on the market, but they're fairly reliable with a few annoyances. The best Bluetooth headphones I've ever had.
