I bought two new larger lights for our porch and there was a big gap behind the lights from the shaking of the trim when we tried to hang them. My husband looked at many adapters and settled on this one for work. That's great. The mount was fairly easy to assemble. We had trouble getting the flashlight screws long enough to use with the adapter, but that's not the fault of this part, it's something to think about when using the adapter. We love our new lights and it would be impossible to hang them up without this adapter. Many Thanks
