Review on Yokohama Geolandar I/T-S G073 215/65 R16 98Q winter by Mateusz Uliasz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

Experience of using autumn-winter-spring 2022-2022, Hong Kong and country roads (200 km. in radius). Car Infiniti Fx 37, 4wd, 333 hp, high-revving engine. Tire size 265-45 R21. I thought for a VERY long time and chose what kind of rubber to put, spikes or not, compared the tread, etc., before that I drove a monodrive, all the tires were studded, the last one in particular was Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7. TOTAL: rubber very satisfied, never regretted this choice. Good luck on the roads.

Pros
  • Excellent rubber, at temperatures from 0 and above on dry and wet, as well as during rain, asphalt is practically not inferior to summer tires in summer. At a negative temperature, it behaves very predictably, it does not particularly harden, even at -30. Loose, freshly fallen snow, porridge is not a hindrance for aggressive driving, it keeps the road well, the braking distance is predictable and much less compared to the previous Yokohama Geolandar I / T G072 model (specially compared, personally, on the same cars with the same radius). Roll and drift in turns with medium (moderate) gas is practically absent. Noise - no noise at all compared to spikes. Icy ice and heavily packed snow - well, you can’t mess around here, even on spikes, but everything is smooth - adequate behavior.
Cons
  • Small speed index (160 km/h) Can't complain about the rest.
