Actually two or three sides need to rotate the caliper correctly. If you only do your rear brakes every few years, it's very profitable. I hooked up a 3/8 extension and ratchet and the pistons slid in like clockwork. I cleaned everything around the dust boots (gaskets? well, the gasket in the piston, the rubber gasket you see) with brake cleaner to loosen them and prevent the piston from pulling dirt behind the gaskets. Many reviews have shown that it is not suitable for certain vehicles, in my case it was a perfect fit.
