This is a good little tool when you're working with really soft material like polymer clay, bola wood or similar. I tried using it to cut a groove on the end of a half inch rod to make a perch for my bird and the small cutting disks would not break or spin at all because the small motor just didn't have the torque to cut. I really like the size of this product. Personally, I'm afraid of rotating tools because the vibration can make them fly out of your hand, but this one is much more comfortable to use because it's smaller. So if you are looking for a small tool for carving in clay or polishing small items, this is a good choice.
