Had these pathway lights for 2 years now, all still work. Light output is great and have received many compliments from neighbors and friends. I have these installed on the grass lawn next to my walkway (see pictures). The only problem for me is that when I cut the lawn, I sometimes touch the hats with the lawnmower and they get knocked off the base. The hat is only held on by 1/4 turn connector, so it is very sensitive. If it gets bumped hard enough it could possibly break the lens. If you have professional landscapers cutting your lawn and the lights are in their path, they may get damaged much sooner. If the placement of your lights is out of human traffic, you should have no issues.
