We have a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder LE with automatic climate control. Our blower had typical end-of-life motor problems. In fact, sometimes it worked. When you tap it with your foot, it usually turns on while the fan was running at high power. After that it worked fine. The dealer diagnosed it for us and gave us a price of $350 for parts and labor. I called another dealer and they wanted $355. Of course, they quoted the original Nissan fan assembly. After a bit of research I found it to be pretty easy to replace. I decided to give it a try because I figured if I had volume issues I could count on Revain to bring it back. The dealer listed an hour of use so I figured it would take a little longer to replace them. I went to the shop and it was replaced in less than 20 minutes. It's insanely easy. Don't pay anyone to do it on Pathfinder. It requires quite a bit of mechanical knowledge and I guarantee you can do it. As for the fan itself, it works great. Quieter than we remember the original ever was and it blows just as well. I strongly recommend that you buy this fan and replace it yourself if you have any problem with the fan motor.
