This probably works great as an IR extender. I bought it because I was using it with an OTG cable to control a FireTV stick that doesn't typically come with IR. Buyer is confident "Yes, it will work with FireTV" - I thought he would give it a try, if nothing else I could debunk the lie of the seller. He arrived, tested it, yes. It's just an IR extender as expected, no USB data capability. It's ok, it's advertised as it is. 1 star goes to an irresponsible, inexperienced, and lazy seller who tells another customer they can do something they can't.
