Works right out of the box.
Worked as soon as I pointed it at my TV, no code, links or other hurdles to jump through. I sometimes have problems with the volume control, but my last remote (original) also worked until it stopped working, so I'm afraid it could be my TV and not a remote problem. Overall I would most likely buy another one if the remote stopped working for my other Samsung TV.
