Review on Armitron Sport Women's Digital Chronograph Watch with Resin Strap, Model 45/7012 by Harley Franchetti

Bought on 20th September and died 52 days later - I am now seeing some reviews with similar or faster failures. Armitron's customer support was completely useless and very fed up with the short lifespan. It looks like this watch is outdated so the battery will be dead by the time you get it. Husband is a battery change champion and has a few so it usually doesn't matter, but this model requires removing the entire strap and a special small screwdriver. And the battery is not standard. Overall, I would not buy it again and would not recommend it. UPDATE 1/12 - After changing the battery, 11/24, the watches are DYING AGAIN TODAY. It is clearly a defective item. SECOND UPDATE, 12/22 After contacting Revain, they replaced (in typically outstanding customer service fashion) a watch that had died twice. So pretty! i love rewan But? A while? now THAT watch is dead too, just a few weeks after it arrived. (Right: I swear on my father Domingo Montoya's soul.) I'll be contacting them again to ask about a replacement for the second one too - maybe I should just offer to add my monthly subscription shipping for free.
