Too much fuss and open fraud in the description. So what if the method of making paper dates back to the 14th century? That goes for pretty much any paper you can get your hands on. I bought a pack, tried on a few pieces and then sent them back for a refund. The surface is *terrible* if you want to paint. Too soft. The tips of fountain pens and fountain pens dig into the surface too easily. Draw with a pencil? Don't worry if you decide to use an eraser as it can remove the "old" finish from the surface instantly. I haven't tried putting a nag eraser on it so I don't know how that would work but at the time I didn't want to bother with it. excels as you would normally expect. I tried brush and ink and it just didn't feel right. Maybe too big? I don't even know if it's handmade considering how even the laid out pattern looked. As bad as I wanted it to be, but the way it is, a total waste.
