Review on Silver Ball Mouth Mason Jar Canning Lids - Pack of 8 Dozen by Allen Wagner

I have had problems with ball canopies that have not closed securely in the last three years. I've lost bottles of pressure cooked beans, jam that isn't sealed, and many other items. My sister in law has used some of my lids and had some breakdowns last year as well. She lost 15 liters of peaches. We find that very depressing. I've been canning for 50 years and I know what I'm doing, whether it's jams and jellies, fruit and tomatoes cooked in a double boiler. I make applesauce, veggies, soups, chili peppers, and meat in a pressure cooker. I can't afford to do all this work when dozens and dozens of caps fail! The ball needs to put a thicker layer of rubber on the caps again for the seal to hold! Sharik, please SOLVE this problem!
