About a year ago I started working with resin to create beautiful paintings on canvas and ended up making tabletops. I've tried the regular FREE mixing sticks from the hardware store, but they are too short to scrape the resin from the bottom of a 10 gallon bucket and mix well. I ordered a plastic stir stick and it was long enough but curved and not strong enough to mix my products. So I started shopping and found these thick oblong stirrers. They work great and I can reuse them! If you're mixing thick foods in a deep bucket, I recommend these.
