The Nuova brand is MUCH better! If you laminate A LOT of stuff, *don't* buy it. Due to the static cleaning they are very difficult to grab quickly (unlike Nuova and other brands where you can quickly grab the laminating sheets between two fingers) and when I snatch a sheet from that stack it's a lot harder. You actually have to use your whole hand to open the laminating sheet and then static electricity will cause the sheet to fold and need to be adjusted before going in the laminator (I really haven't had to adjust much with other brands, and I... promise i have much experience of laminating, because I am laminating all 3 drawings and my kids' drawings, but I usually let the drawings build up before I start laminating many hours) Also, after laminating with this brand, I noticed that the edges were not as straight and flat, what my laminates look like with other brands. I definitely wouldn't use this for the sentimental things you're trying to keep. To be honest I wish I could return them but I didn't bother using them within the 30 day return window. Based on all the good reviews I thought I would save about an extra $3 compared to Nuova. no You get what you pay for.
