This is perfect for lighting my top microwave. It's on and it's bright. I can't measure energy savings, but LEDs are always better in general. It also shines brighter than the previous non-LED light bulb it replaced. Also, it's a bright blue light, not the "soft white" of incandescent bulbs. If you have a preference, please note it. The only complaint I have is that the slightly dimmer lighting mode works strangely compared to the absolute brightest mode available, as you can see some sort of slight flickering. It seems that Hz is not enough for light. I think it would be extremely frustrating to work with him for any length of time. To be honest I never use the dimmer setting and the max brightness mode suits me fine. I'm not sure I would pay more for a product that guaranteed dimmer operation. Consider me satisfied.
