I use these small cards for various art projects. Thick and strong enough to make reusable cards or games, they are also perfect for making decorative name tags for your dining table. My daughter loves to use them to create inspirational postcards with messages and famous quotes for her bulletin board. The card itself has some kind of coating, but it's still matte. I've written on them with a variety of pens and markers and the cards take almost all types of ink very well; Markers and markers are the best, and my least favorite is fountain pen ink. I love that the cards were wrapped in plastic in four little stacks: unused cards stay nice until I need them. Each of my decks had between 55 and 60 cards.
