We had some trouble finding the right swim trunks for my young teenage son. He is very athletic with a narrow waist compared to his buttocks and thighs. These swimsuits are perfect! There is a drawstring for you to adjust the tightness of the waist. Don't worry about losing his shorts! The colors and pattern are attractive and my son says the length is "perfect". They resisted fading. I think these swimming trunks will suit boys of different builds. I would buy her again next year when she outgrows the stems I bought this year.
