What you NEED for a correct install

The problem with the only other poster on this wheel (26") and on the exact same wheelset in 29" is that they are trying to use a red anodized cone/adapter OUTSIDE attach the cassette retaining ring and then mount the impeller. Yes, it will affect the operation of the hub and the wheel will not work. This seal MUST BE BEHIND the snap ring and opposite the bushing itself. Running your skewer will center it and then get out of the way of the cassette and the whole system will spin as well or better than my Chris King hubs on my enduro. These are absolutely fine rolling wheels when fitted correctly. Put that cone on the outside of the locking ring and you're definitely bolted. It MUST BE INSIDE the retaining ring! With my XC bike on the same stand as these wheels and my FS Enduro with Chris King hubs and Envy carbon wheels next to them, these things literally spin a good minute longer and sound even better. I cannot put into words the value these wheels represent. In a market where so many things are overpriced and stupidly overpriced, it's nice to hit a jackpot like this. I just bought another enduro bike. Polygon N9 for $3,300. Entity wheels with Shimano XT hubs are nowhere near as good as these. I'm thinking of buying another set and replacing those wheels with these! Oh, and the attention they get on the trails. Everyone swears I have i9 hubs because of the snoring noise. You sound cute! Buy these wheels, assemble them CORRECTLY and you will be happy!
