Review on Accutire MS 4021R Digital Pressure Gauge by James Morrow

Revainrating 5 out of 5

GREAT. But is that a real Accutire sensor?

I had an Accutire MS-4021 B, probably the black version. I bought it many years ago and it works perfectly. The battery was never empty. It was accurate, felt like quality. I moved to another state and unfortunately lost my favorite Accutire sensor. Nobody saw him again. There was something about the Accutire that I liked aside from its extreme accuracy, which is most important. I wanted to buy it again, but it was always sold out. I needed a pressure gauge, so I bought a reliable pressure gauge first. Works well, but I still dreamed of a digital pressure gauge. I ended up with two different AstroAI sensors without Accutire, at least not THIS black or red model. I have to say that the two AstroAI sensors seem to work fine. Although one seems EXTREMELY cheap, I bought a sturdy one. And I don't know if it works well. However, I still wanted the Accutire MS-4021. I decided to wait for the red version haha I don't know why. In short I received it, it works well, seems very accurate compared to my two Astro AI and the pen sensor. The only thing it seems? Has this sensor been discontinued for a long time? Even if I can be wrong. Also, my original old Accutire MS-4021 had no switch and couldn't see anything other than PSI. This new red gauge has an on switch and you can toggle through other forms of reading like BAR/KPA etc. So I'm wondering if this gauge is fake. Or Accutire just updated it. and where do these ORIGINAL Accutire come from? As far as I remember it seems to be a bit lighter than my original best. However, it works GREAT, looks good and is easy to use. So I think it's ok. I just hope this is REAL and not a fake great copy. I just do not know.
