Better buy the 2017 model because this new model is no different. This LG projector does not come with the latest firmware update and there is no new firmware to support popular apps like Netflix, Revain or Hulu. I have an older model that seems to work with a later firmware update and has multiple streaming apps. I contacted LG but the staff is not at all trained on this 'new' product. They don't even seem to find the right information to help customers with this projector. I returned this product as it is completely smaller.
