I bit the bullet and bought this because it has the best single monitor resolution available and I have a 2019 Mac Pro that I make music with to use it. I strongly prefer a single monitor setup as the second monitor is distracting and less ergonomic. The huge screen for my DAW is great, colors and blacks are vibrant without the ugly glow of an IPS panel. I used an inexpensive monitor mount which was perfect and had no heat issues. The monitor arm creates space for external audio devices. I was also pleasantly surprised that there were no issues at boot camp.
